Th Hyundai ix35 at the Frankfurt Motor Show
The exterior styling is Ford Kuga by way of VW Tiguan – but somehow more convincing. With the optional 18″ wheels it looks purposeful and aggressive, but even in stock form it looks great. Passenger comfort is well taken care of with a well thought-out cabin with lots of decent quality materials, and nice features like the panoramic roof, cooled glove-box and good connectivity.

Say hello to the Lamborghini Huracán LP 610-4 – the replacement for the best-selling Lambo in history, the Gallardo. The new supercar’s brooding looks pack a more potent 601bhp V10 and Lamborghini’s first dual-clutch transmission into a lighter package that’ll eat the old Gallardo for breakfast…
Loads – starting with the name. While rumours that the Gallardo replacement was to be called the ‘Cabrera’ (Spanish for ‘goat herder’ apparently) proved false, the new sports car at least follows the tradition of being named after a bull.
Alfa Romeo are running the Alfa 8C Spider up the Hillclimb at Goodwood
The Alfa Romeo 8C Spider is the convertible version of the limited run Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione, and features a 4.7 litre V8 producing 450bhp. In truth the coupe version looked a lot better than it drove but, being an Alfa, its looks redeemed it. And the 8C Spider is a cracking looking car.
